Blackened Coffee Co. started as a passion project built around bold coffee, plant-based food, and community energy. What began as pop-ups around Columbus — serving indulgent, vegan twists on breakfast favorites while celebrating music and local culture — evolved into a permanent home inside Ace of Cups in Old North Columbus. We’re here because we couldn’t find the coffee and breakfast we wanted — so we made it ourselves. Our menu features strong, carefully crafted espresso and coffee drinks alongside fully plant-based breakfast sandwiches and savory bites that appeal to vegans and non-vegans alike. Everything we serve is free of dairy and animal products, but rich in flavor and community. Located on the back patio of Ace of Cups — one of Old North’s most vibrant music venues and cultural hubs — Blackened blends the energy of the neighborhood with a welcoming place to start your day, meet a friend, or grab a midday pick-me-up. We’re open Wednesday through Sunday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
